Pro Taxidermy was established in 1970 by my father, Mike W. Nakielski, Jr. in the basement of his Milwaukee home. I gained a strong interest in watching him develop his taxidermy art right when I reached the age of four.

Starting at the age of six, I would always go out into the woods with him - to his "secret spot," and hunt with him. As time progressed and as I gained further fascination, I, to this day, have never missed an opening day of duck season with my father.

He helped me mount a goose when I was 10 years old
and I haven’t stopped doing taxidermy since. Even though
my father quit taxidermy several year ago, I, now in my
early 30's, have carried on his establishment and have
built it into what it is today.
